Originally, Adi Dassler was supposed to be a baker. Well, he decided against this and was rewarded with leaving quite a mark on sports history. The story about his rise from humble shoemaker to global game changer, entrepreneur and, eventually, founder of adidas, is well documented. The ideas, principles and the special attitude of this incredibly creative inventor are still with us today. In everything we do. It’s even fair to say that the principle he based his life and work on remains the foundation of our company: no athlete left behind. Welcome to adidas.

Welcome to the second season of Adidas snowboarding. Just down the road from Mt. Hood, we are driven by a passion for snowboarding and we are proud to bring you this rider-driven collection. We’ve worked with our team to create a line of boots and apparel that connects their style and performance demands with the world’s best technology. This is at the heart of everything adidas does and as riders we have a unique opportunity to tap into incredible, next-level resources to bring you some amazing snowboarding gear that performs just as well as it looks. WELCOME: LOUIF PARADIS
Louif Paradis is one of the most respected snowboarders on the planet. His video parts have been highly influential because of his trick and selection, and last year his video part in ‘Deja Vú’ earned him TransWorld SNOWboarding’s Video Part of the Year. We are pleased to welcome Louif to Adidas Snowboarding.
NOMAD 1/3: JAPAN Video
This past January the adidas Snowboarding team went to Japan to wear and test out the 2015 collection in the cold Japanese winter that arguably creates the best powder in the world. While lots of pro snowboarders went to Japan, no one else had a tour guide like Kazu. For a month Kazu showed everyone all of his secret spots that he grew up riding. He brought the crew to the legendary powder in Hokkaido, as well as some untapped street rails in Sapporo.
NOMAD 2/3: EN ROUTE Video
Being a professional snowboarder is like being an explorer. Nothing is set in stone, and you’re always on the move. The snow might be good one day, and terrible the next. You’re always out there searching for the next new spot, the next snowstorm, and the next trick. Follow Louif Paradis, Kazu Kokubo, and Eric Jackson as they travel the world. Their constant movement acting as a metaphor for the energy return found in the adidas Boost technology; integrated prominently in this video.

When on the hunt for new spots, nothing is off limits. One of the most fabled travel routes on the planet is the Trans-Siberian railroad.
